It was recently reported that a meeting at Nintendo was overheard discussing an external storage device for the Wii.
Nintendo of Europe has dismissed the rumor, calling it “pure rumor and speculation.” I guess we’ll have to wait until something is finalized and ready for release before we ever find out more about a possible hard drive for the Wii. For now, you’ll have to resort to clearing your Wii’s memory if you fill it up, and just redownloading titles if you wish to play them again.
