As Pokémon heads into another season, the popular metaseries will begin its adaptation of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl in a series by the same. Cartoon network has revealed the English names of two new main characters that have been gracing the show in Japan for some time now.
Hikari, Ash’s new friend in a role similar to Misty and May, will be named “Dawn” in the English dub. Shinji, Ash’s new rival, will take on the name “Paul.”
It’s actually been a while since I caught the show, but since I was around when the metaseries started, and since I caught the introduction of May and Max, I think I’ll try and catch the first few episodes of this new series.
