Super Mario Galaxy to support 2 players
Remember when you and a buddy could grab a controller and sit down to play through a new Mario game together? No? Well, you could back in the day. It appears those days could be back again soon.
Nintendo’s Hub page for Super Mario Galaxy lists the game as supporting 1-2 players. There is no indication as to whether this means alternating Mario/Luigi play like in days of old, a co-op mode a la Sonic 2, or if it’s some completely separate multiplayer party mode (for 2). However, the quiet confirmation seems to have excited people all over the internet – hopefully we’ll be returning Mario to 2-player platforming fun!
