Nintendo has managed to sell 68,000 Wiis in Australia since launch, with 17,000 coming in the post-holiday season to date alone. In fact, for the last two weeks with retail stocks being replenished, the Wii has managed to take the crown as the top-selling console down under, dethroning the PS2. Granted, the $999 PS3 has yet to be released in Australia, so we’ll get a better picture for the console war there once it does.
