Hideki Kamiya, known for directing the popular Okami game, gives his initial impressions with the visual art style of Twilight Princess. Read his words from an interview in Tokyo last week:
“To be frank, I was disappointed when I saw [Twilight Princess'] visuals. I’m a Zelda freak — it’s no overstatement to say that I created OkamiZelda. I really wanted [Twilight Princess] to have that regal aura, because Zelda was what we were aspiring to. I wanted it to show me things that were surprising, but…” because of
Sure, Twilight Princess was the most realistic looking Zelda yet. But did it have a “regal aura?” Aside from the surreal Twilight Realm, I must agree that TP’s visuals felt just like an updated Ocarina of Time.
