Not all hope lost for info at GDC?

Zelda Universe has their business and economics experts dive deeper into this whole “no new Nintendo info at GDC” scenario. What they’ve found is that the gag order is essentially to keep Nintendo from artifically manipulating their stock appeal during the time when the new stock price is being set. However, once the stock price has been set, the restraint should be lifted and Nintendo will be free to talk. At the very least, Nintendo should have the very last day (Friday) of GDC to talk about whatever they wish, and that just so happens to be Zelda director Eiji Aonuma’s day to speak. In fact, his speech time has even been pushed back to later in the day. Coincidence?

Hopefully, however, the restraint is lifted sooner than later. I know we all want to have something potentially new to look forward to in Shigeru Miyamoto’s Thursday keynote.
