Many of us have used our Wiis to play GameCube games at one point, and we all know how ugly the whole contraption looks to have GameCube controllers or even WaveBird receivers sticking out of the top. Well, I opened up my inbox to find a fan concept design for a solution.

The design calls for four WaveBird receivers to be taken apart and oriented so that they can fit comfortably in an attachable cover for the Wii, effectively plugging in 4 WaveBirds and giving you enough room to plug in your memory cards. Once you GC memory cards are in, the 4-Wavebird cover plugs into the controller ports in a stylish and compact manner. Any takers on building the first one?
