Honestly, I don’t think I’ve owned a Mario Party game since #2, and haven’t rented or played a game since #3. They’re fun, yeah, but just adding new mini-games doesn’t cut it for me and many of my friends to justify spending $50. However, Mario Party 8 may finally invite me back to the series, bringing crazy new Wii remote gameplay to the couch for a fun board game with friends. It’s shaping up to be one of the more fun Mario Party games in a long time, and as long as the game seems polished it will definately become one of my favorites to have around.
