Wrigley Jr. Co. has recently launched a Wii-compatible version of their candystand.com site at wii.candystand.com. The Candy Stand site allows visitors of the Wrigley site to enjoy simple Flash-based games during their visits. Wrigley’s Scott Tannen claims that the site is one of the ways they try to build positive relationships with their customers.
The Wii version of their site is not operated in partnership with Nintendo, which Nintendo has declined to comment on. The Candy Stand site does make the claim on their site that the Wii is a property of Nintendo, so for now it seems like there should be no legal problems in this win-win situation. The gaming site has been modified from its original version, and has been formatted to fit your television screen.
