Nintendo steals sales from real toys

Toy maker, Tomy Co., has cut its annual profit forecast predictions by two-thirds the initial amount. The company reduced the forecast from 5 billion yen to 1.7 billion yen, citing strong sales of the Nintendo DS and Wii as the reason people are buying less of their toys. While this means good things for Nintendo, I must admit I’m a bit saddened by the fact that today’s kids, more than ever, are growing up without the physical toys I remember having and loving to play with so much.
