With Fire Emblem: Akatsuki no Megami for the Wii arriving on Japanese shelves this Thursday, Famitsu and Joystiq have commented on the games lack of Wii remote usage. The game uses the classic controller, and could very well have been a GameCube game (however, the game’s massive 44-chapter collection of maps and textures, as well as probably more FMVs always make the larger Wii discs a good thing). The game recently received a 33/40 from Famitsu.
Now, I’m confused. Does anyone read Japanese? We posted a story not too long ago with the following image. I was under the impression that Akatsuki no Megami used the Classic Controller as the preferred method of control, but allowed use of the Wii remote/nunchuk combo (not necessarily the motion sensing aspect, unfortunately) or the GameCube controller.
If anyone find anymore information regarding this, especially with the game’s Japanese release this Thursday, be sure to let us know.
