We’re finally ready to launch a new portion of the site! The Tanooki Forums are now up and ready for use. Of course, we may make a few cosmetic tweaks to the forums over the next few days until it’s completely to our liking, but essentially everything’s ready to go. The “FORUMS” link has been added to the navigational bar at the top of the site.
For those who signed up for the news portion of our site (allowing you to post comments to our news posts), you may already have a forum account. Members who signed up at The Tanooki prior to Wednesday, February 14 already have forum accounts waiting for them. The forums will take your existing username and password if you wish to use the same account, and you can change your display name in your forums profile (when you first log in, it takes your Display Name from your first/last name when your originally registered – you are free to change that on the forums). Members who signed up for our site after Wednesday or have not signed up at all can register a new forum account in order to post messages.
Feel free to post feedback on the news forums, as we will be making adjustments over the next few days. Official board rules will go up Monday, so until then we trust you will post appropriate messages and content, and we reserve the right to moderate posts at our discretion.
