Jeux-France has a new rumor up claiming that developer Bandai-Namco will soon reveal plans to release several Tales games for Nintendo’s pair of systems.
Tales of Phantasia 2 may come to fruition on Nintendo DS as a 2D sequel to the popular Tales of Phantasia on the Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance. For the Wii, Jeux-France claims the developer intends to remake the PS2 game Tales of the Abyss, of course with quicker load times and some added bonuses like new events in the game. A direct sequel to Tales of the Abyss (and we’re talking literally 10 minutes after the close of Tales of the Abyss), called Tales of Harmony, will also be released on the Wii.
Check back soon, as the rumor should be clarified by Bandai-Namco within the week, with Tales of the Abyss expected to hit before summer.
