Was the Zelda:TP ending appropriate? Or a letdown?

That seems to be a big issue. I’ve had some friends come to me asking what was up with the ending. They didn’t like it. Whereas I thought it fit the game quite well, and there was no other way to end it.

Jordan Bieber gives his insight as to a possibility why those who were disappointed with the ending maybe have been so. Perhaps the ending was taken out of context, and fans were expecting too much. Or maybe it’s something completely different for you. Head over to read Jordan’s article – and don’t worry, there aren’t any spoilers.
There’s also a separate argument that the article doesn’t address. Regardless of whether the main points of the ending are “good enough” for some fans, there are several minor details left with loose ends by the time “The End” flashes on the screen, and it doesn’t look like they will be details addressed by Nintendo in the future. Unfortunately, this aspect is just something we Zelda fans have to get used to, as Nintendo really hasn’t expressed interest in having strict continuity in the Zelda series.
