The Game Factory is publishing its first DS game.
Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. has reached a deal with The Game Factory to release a Nintendo DS game creating a virtual Build-A-Bear workshop, developed by Neko Entertainment. You’ll be able to name, brush, and take care of your furry friend by buying clothes and other accessories and unlocking mini-games. The game will be in 3D and feature online multiplayer using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
“We know that kids around the world continue to be enchanted by the ability to design and make their own stuffed animal,” said Build-A-Bear Workshop’s founder and CEO, Maxine Clark. “We are pleased that through our partnership with The Game Factory we’ll be able to expand on our store experience and allow children an entirely new way to personalize and play with their cherished furry friends.”
The Build-A-Bear video game has yet to be named, but will be released in time for Christmas 2007.
