I love how the media can spin anything around to be harmful for kids, today we have some Fox news love:
Nintendo’s hot new hand-held gaming device, Nintendo DS, is causing concern it could open the door for molesters to contact children.
The game unit has a feature called Pictochat: Anyone with a Nintendo DS can send another DS user messages and sketches using Pictochat. This is not done over the internet, it’s done directly.
Nintendo claims the range is 65 feet, but FOX 6 was able to send messages from one DS unit to another from more than 300 feet away.
300 feet away?!?!? Better watch out everybody. I can’t wait to see how they turn the Wii Friend Codes into another molestation device- “Once they enter your child’s sixteen digit friend code, the predator can message your child whenever they want!”
