Last October, Konami announced plans to release an arcade compilation for the DS (originally called Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits). Now Konami is back at it again with a revamped package, although only 3 games have been officially confirmed out of the 15 choices (Gradius, Time Pilot, and Yie-Ar Kung Fu).
Here’s the good news: Each game is supposed to be an absolutely perfect emulation of it’s arcade counterpart. Konami is also including wireless multiplayer and the ability to choose between a horizontal screen or the vertical arcade style screen. It’s compilations like this that make me very grateful for the DS. It’s like Virtual Console on the road, and much cheaper!
