Spore confirmed for DS
You have no idea how excited I am right now.
Will Wright’s newest and highly anticipated creation, Spore, will be coming to the Nintendo DS, in addition to PC. Spore, for those who don’t know about it, is essentially Will Wright’s “SimEverything.” Players will take control of a microscopic organism, helping it to survive, grow, and evolve, leading their creations to socialize, spawn a civilization, colonize the planet, and reach out across the galaxy to pursue other words. The game downloads species created by other Spore creators around the world to provide your species with some biological competition as you expand through seven levels of evolution.
In addition to Spore for the DS, EA has reconfirmed SimCity DS for the Nintendo DS, and My Sims for the Nintendo DS and Wii.

I have never been more surprised/excited for a game release EVER in my life.
When spore was first announced some, three or so years ago, I was obsessed with getting all the possible info on the game. Being a Mac user, I was even tempted to buy a PC JUST to play spore when it came out. Then I got some relief when the whole windows bootcamp started becoming a part of Mac OSX so I could easily just play it on my laptop…..
But on the DS?!?!?!?1
Holy crap. This is like sim city times 49050302 for me.
