DeLorenzo gets book deal based on Wii weight loss program

Remember Mickey DeLorenzo? The guy who lost nine pounds in six weeks playing the Wii? Well, it pays to have a good idea. Mickey has just received a deal to write a book and help develop a fitness program website, both around his Wii weight-loss experiment.

Unlike how roughly 750 schools added Dance Dance Revolution to their physical education programs in the United States in January of last year, this deal helps more than just students lose weight, and the money goes to a single person! Jeremy Katz of Sanford. J. Greenburger Associates got in touch with DeLorenzo after DeLorenzo’s originally dugg story had led to his blog being posted on websites, imitated by NBC, and talked about on the radio. From here, Mickey and Sanford will be working on the new book.
