Majora’s Mask cake

Kotaku reader, David, was recently treated to a wonderful Majora’s Mask cake made by his girlfriend’s mother for his birthday. Even more amazing was the commentary he sent Kotaku. Check it out:

What is really remarkable about this cake is the fact that my girlfriend’s mother lost the use of her left arm in a car accident over 20 years ago. Yet, she was still able to create such an incredible cake with only one arm.

As a fellow crafty person, I hold a high respect for someone who can maintain the concentration to devote the time to work on something like this with a single hand. Though, I miss the days when custom-themed Nintendo cakes were all the rage for birthday parties. Ahh, the 90s.
