Wii Q1 Release Schedule Is Sort Of… Weak

Jason McMaster from GigaGamez has written a criticism concerning Nintendo’s thin list of Q1 releases. Nintendo acknowledged that their biggest mistake with the GameCube was forgetting to make sure there was a constant flow of great software. However, Q1 seems to reflect that nothing has changed. In the interview with Croal, Fils-Aime noted that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption would be released early in 2007 to give Nintendo a momentum boost to carry them towards Mario Galaxy, but that doesn’t seem to be the case as Metroid Prime 3 isn’t on the list. Chris Kohler of Wired also noted that Mario Party 8 has mysteriously vanished from its Q1 release and has been moved back to Q2.
