Beyond3D has written up an analysis of what effect future hardware revisions for the manufacturers will have on the cost of production and price to consumers for all three major game consoles. Apparently the Wii is already cost efficient, and any changes aren’t going to drop its price as significantly as changes to the 360 or PS3′s manufacturing might.
