The Virtual Console Archive tries to decide whether or not The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, slated to hit Europe’s Virtual Console this month, is worth downloading and adding to your collection yet again. Simply put, there aren’t many better ways to spend $10 on an N64 game.
Graphically, OOT has lost some of its impact, but there are still moments where the sheer vastness of the environment take your breath away. The quest is as demanding as it was almost a decade ago (although it has to be said that some of the puzzles can get annoying) and for 1000 Wii points you’ll be hard pushed to get better value for money on the Virtual Console.
