Wii’s Means of Motion
The New York Times has an online flash feature in which they take a look at the construction and function of the Wii remote. I have this thing called the Ultimate Visual Dictionary and the Times feature looks like it would be a perfect fit in there!
Practically a sensation since its debut last month, the Nintendo Wii video game console is redefining the way video games are played. Rather than simply mash buttons and swivel joysticks, its controllers also translate player motion, like swinging and punching, into game play on the screen.
