This is kinda cool. In all honesty, though, if you’re going to make a USB key mod out of an NES or Famicom controller, take advantage of the physical space somehow. I’ve got a 1 GB key about the size of a quarter, I’m sure you could find a way to use the space inside those controllers to house a bit more memory.
But anyway, I’m asking too much – more memory is expensive anyway. Nintendo Baby has modded 1GB USB keys into each a NES and Famicom controller. They also intend to post a tutorial on how to make it soon. Check it out!
