Here’s a short review from what seems to be a San Jose newspaper. Mike Antonucci chimes in with his thoughts on Super Swing Golf, Elebits, and the Wii remote:
I’m happy to report that at least two post-launch games — “Super Swing Golf” from Tecmo and “Elebits” from Konami — make agreeable use of the Wii controller and re-establish the technology’s potential.
The Wii’s immediate popularity is a tribute to its basic concept of making top-notch video-gaming less formidable. But its ultimate genius rests with all the innovative games that will be developed in future years. We can anticipate those breakthroughs even if we can’t envision them.
