Cooking Mama: Cook Off Details; Pushed Back

Cooking Mama: Cook Off for the Wii has been pushed back until April, according to IGN Wii, but the good news lies in new game details.

The game will have three modes. The Training mode will have you stir, roll, slice, and more as you get a feel for the controls. You’ll then enter a Challenge mode, which requires you to prepare meals as quickly as you can to earn points and unlock new recipes. The third mode, Friends and Food of the World, has you in friendly competition against computer-controlled cooks from around the world. You’ll see who can cook cuisines from whatever country you’re visiting the quickest.

The game will also have a fun and competitive two-player mode, a menu more balanced than the game’s DS counterpart with Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese, Spanish, and other recipes, and serves to provide players with the opportunity to see how real, exotic dishes are actually prepared. The game is delayed until April, but the wait should be worth it.
